Heather Hughes
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-C, AGNP-BC
Dual-Certified in Primary Care and Psychiatry.
Heather Hughes was born and raised in Florida. She graduated with her Associate in Nursing in 2006 and worked predominantly as an ER Nurse for 12 years while supervising the psychiatric pod. She obtained her Master’s in Nursing from Florida Southern College and her Doctorate in Nursing from UNF. As the founder of Optimum Healthcare, Heather Hughes is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and is also certified as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. As a Nurse Practitioner, in addition to psychiatry, she has practiced in primary and urgent care, medical weight loss, and medical aesthetics. Heather is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association.
Yamira Baez
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, APRN, PMHNP
Yamira believes in building a foundation of trust, where clients feel safe and heard, knowing their unique experiences are genuinely respected. By combining evidence-based practices with a holistic approach, she creates a supportive environment where you can navigate life’s challenges and work towards lasting positive change. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space where patients can explore their mental health challenges with someone who not only listens but also empowers them with practical tools and strategies. Yamira’s mission is to deliver compassionate, personalized care that helps each individual gain greater control over their symptoms, achieve stability, and build resilience on their journey towards mental wellness.
Ronnie Moore
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, APRN, PMHNP-BC, AGNP-C
Ronnie Moore, brings over 18 years of healthcare expertise to his role. Starting as a Licensed Practical Nurse, he advanced to become an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) specializing in Adult Gerontology and primary care. Recognizing the need for expanded mental health services, he obtained a post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Ronnie’s commitment to holistic care led to the inception of Dual HealthCare Services, integrating physical and mental health services seamlessly. With a career spanning since 2021, Ronnie has practiced in various settings, demonstrating dedication to patient care. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University (2013), a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Florida Southern College (2015), and a Post-Master Certificate from Maryville University (2021). Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-BC since 2021 and an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner-C since 2017, Ronnie’s leadership fosters comprehensive healthcare delivery, empowering individuals to achieve optimal wellness.
Kirstan
Office Manager
Kirstan was born and raised in Maine. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Mental Health then earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Kirstan has worked in the mental health field for the past eight years as a Registered Behavioral Technician in Applied Behavior Analysis working with children who have autism. Kirstan enjoys reading and traveling in her free time. Helping people has always been one of her biggest passions in life and being able to help others with their mental health is extremely important to her.
